Last night mom and I went to hear some local music at the Passionfruit Theatre. They have local music every last Wednesday of the month called The River Sessions. The theatre was tiny and cozy with beautiful fire hazard candles all over the stage!
The first set was a lovely singer/song writer, Lisa G from Kildare.
The next set was The Disconnected Bliss, a sort of indie-punk rock band from right here in Athlone!
Lovely venue, brilliant music, and an all around grand time! (using my Irish vocabulary, they don't so much use the words awesome, great, or good haha!)
